How good a job are you doing responding to follower engagement? 

Think of it this way – If you’re a business with a public premises (a shop, a salon, restaurant, garage etc…) you would welcome/serve/treat them immediately. Given your socials are the shop window to your business, it’s not unreasonable to aim to reply to your social enquiries, comments and engagement within a 24hr period 

I watch lots of businesses push out content, sometimes several times a day, yet the comments underneath their earlier posts have zero interaction / haven’t been acknowledged. Why is all this important?

– It’s polite 
– If you leave enquiries unread / unanswered for days there’s a real chance they’ll go elsewhere if they think your page isn’t manned. You risk losing business
– If a follower has left a supportive comment, or asked a question underneath your post and you don’t reply, yet they see you pushing out your 2nd and 3rd post…how valued do you think they feel?
– Your socials shouldn’t feel like a one way street – “we post but good luck trying to engage back!”
– First impressions count, especially for followers engaging with you for the first time. Their experience interacting with you is what they’ll share with their friends…

Personal pages are different but your business socials – aim for 24hrs!!!
